Pollastrini Di Anzio - Sardines with Olive Oil

The only sardine in oil producer in Italy only uses sardines that are fished from the Mediterranean directly on its doorstep. Pollastrini is based in Anzio, a port city near Rome. The company has been marinating sardines in olive oil since 1889. The sardines taste particularly good on buttered white bread with a fresh green salad and a glass of white wine.
