Even though the use of cannabis in India – the birthplace of yoga – has a long tradition (just like the practice of yoga itself), the direct combination of cannabis and yoga is a rather modern phenomenon. For a long time, such experiences only took place in small circles and in secret. With the change in the law, yoga sessions with cannabis have also become possible here in Germany. Consuming cannabis before yoga exercises can help participants to calm down more quickly and immerse themselves more deeply in relaxation. At the same time, the plant can help to open the mind and intensify the experience. It should be noted that this is not primarily about experiencing the strongest possible high. Rather, cannabis should serve as a gentle support for yoga practice. The guided consumption experience at the beginning of the session should also help to experience and possibly question individual cannabis use and one's own habits more consciously.
All participants should make a conscious decision to consume cannabis and use their own supply. If you have it, use a strain that can help you relax and immerse yourself.
About the process:
Once all participants have arrived and found their seats, we begin the cannabis session. Please bring your own cannabis and the utensils you need to use it (papers, vaporizers, pipes, etc.). Preparation (preparing the mix, rolling, etc.) is also part of the guided session. You don't need to do anything beforehand.
For cannabis yoga sessions, inhalation is recommended as a form of consumption, as this produces an immediate effect that we want to take advantage of during the yoga session. With sufficient advance notice, however, it is also possible to take drops or edibles (foods prepared with cannabis). However, please make sure that you only consume a small amount. CBD flowers can also be used well for this experience.
After taking the cannabis, we will practice yoga together. These will be simple exercises designed to promote relaxation and inner balance. The exercises are also suitable for people who have little or no experience with yoga. After the final relaxation (Shavasana), there is time for mutual exchange and reflection on what has just been experienced.

Important instructions:
- Each participant brings his/her own cannabis. According to the Cannabis Act, it is not permitted to pass on or share cannabis. We do not encourage anyone to use cannabis. The decision to consume is entirely yours. All participants take part in the cannabis session and yoga exercise at their own risk. - If you spontaneously decide against consuming cannabis at that moment, you are welcome to take part in the session sober. The guided consumption experience can also easily be carried out with a drink, a piece of chocolate or something similar. - Cannabis changes the way your body perceives itself, which can increase the risk of injury. Therefore, only light exercises are performed during the session to reduce the risk. At the same time, you should be mindful of yourself and pay attention to the signals your body is sending you.
